Tribute to the Cougs

As I sit here pondering the beauty of BYU Football, I only have fond memories of the past four years and being able to sit in the stadium with good friends, illegal beverages, and the team I support. I decided to post some of the best memories in my tribute to the Cougs and to the Cougar Crazies:
-Tailgate music courtesy of the Rock always getting us pumped and ready for the games
-Becky's amazing treats honoring the Cougs
-Yelling things out at the opposing team that might not always have been 'appropriate'
-Blue paint
-Rain games
-Blue paint and rain games together
-The phrase "Break their bones!!" (thanks WoW)
-The team
-The stadium
-The Cougar Roar (Elliot's rendition is a personal fave)
-Attention from the Press for being the best tailgaters ever
-The text-messaging fiasco 07
-Road trips to away games
-Bonding with Dan the Man's family in Vegas
-Being "too mean" according to the Events staff
-Citrus Drop/Mountain Dew
-Getting dirty looks from other Coug fans for our dedication to cheering
-Meeting a guy named Steve my freshman year during one of the games and running into this Steve on the plane yesterday
-Stalking football players
-The giddyness of hearing Bronco speak live
-Dog piles after touchdowns
-Chugging contests
-Looking around the stadium and being proud to be a Cougar
-The Helmet
-Getting in arguments with strangers at Costco about the greatness of the Cougs
-Hating everyone and everything associated with the Utes
-Waking up early on a Saturday and being ok with it
-Rides to the stadium in the back of the truck
-Free food vouchers
-Awkward looking sunburns from random face paint
-Good gaming the team as they left the stadium after the games
-Spending countless hours with awesome friends supporting the game and team we love
-Watching the Cougs destroy the Utes
-Watching the Cougs any time, any day, against any team
I'll miss being there this season...
GO COUGS!!!!

It still hasn't set in that I won't be around for football season. Not until I'm actually stuck watching most of the games on TV. Which happens to be in 5 days. Wow. But seriously, how awesome were the last few years and all the good times had during football season. Amazing.

BYU is kicking Iowa's trash right now! I wish we were at the game right now. I remember one rainy game when we were all wearing paint and I was wearing white sweats. no bueno. Is the random stranger you talked to at costco glen?? lol.

Recent Obsession Flair-ups

You know how there are some things that you love so much and you experience these things a ton but then after awhile they just seem to fade out? But then some time passes and you almost rediscover these things with new eyes and obsess over them again almost worse than the first time? This has recently happened to me with a few things. They include: Elton John Tater Tots Seinfeld Showering Grape Juice Thats it. PS: (Did you know?!) Thanks to Dare-bear-stare for helping me learn that my own Denver International Airport is the largest airport in the U.S. at 53 square miles! Props to Denver yet again!

Take Home Chef Wannabe

So once upon a time my friend Jeff and I made up our own little tradition. We called it "Friday Picture" and each Friday we would walk around campus and take a picture with the most awkward/awesome/unique looking individual we could find. It was something I looked forward to every week, and we would constantly surprise ourselves with the kind of people we'd see walking around BYU. A lot of weridos there. One day we decided to meander through the library to see if there was anyone extra special for our Friday Picture. Boyyy, did we find that special person! World, meet Take Home Chef Lookalike. I saw him and I couldn't believe the similarities. The striking features. The blond, pointy hair. We even found some silverware to make the photo more true to life.
