(my tongue is weird...but that is an entirely different post)We loveeeee Jasons Deli. It is one of our favorites. Mostly because of the fact we get to build our own ice cream cone when we're done with our delicious meals. YUM.
First off, I love any place I can make my own ice cream cone. They are most frequently found at cafeterias and Chinese buffets. I don't know why, but its true.
Secondly, one should always choose the twist flavor. It is the most perfect combo of vanilla and chocolate!
We always compete to see who can make the biggest cone.
It is during these moments the most competitive side of me shows itself. I take building the best and tallest ice cream cone very seriously.
Usually some kids end up watching us and asking their parents if they can copy us. Sorry parents. This time some kid was spinning in circles over and over and over again. It looked like fun.
That wasn't the only difference, though. As I was walking back to our table with my slanted but impressive looking cone, worried about the stiff competition that Noelle brought, I saw my chances crumble. The ice cream tipped to one side and found itself hugging the floor. I didn't even see it happen. It just did.
With my friends shuddering in embarrassment, I immediately started laughing. Then I looked over and saw the spinning kids family looking and laughing too.
And then all I wanted to do was spin.
Never a dull moment at Jasons Deli. Never.
